        Dear Romy,

I just love this video. I can’t tell you how many, many times I have watched this.
It’s a wonderful tribute to all the stars in it. However, I shared the video with my sister and she too loves it so much and was able to name every single performer. The only one she asked me if I knew who the beautiful Ballerina is dancing solo in the beginning of the Video. Can you identify her for us, I would love to know who she is?

        Thanks for your help.

        -Rose

        • Dear Rose,

I’m glad you and your sister enjoyed the post with this amazing video. I’ve been watching the Swan Lake variation and am trying to narrow down who the ballerina is. From the corp of ballet, it looks like a Russian version. I believe it’s Svetlana Zakharov.

I’m going to ask my friend Toba Singer (ballet critic and author AND Mom of Houston Ballet Soloist, James Reed Gotesky) if she can identify her and I’ll get back to you!

          Thanks for your comment,

          -Romy

        • Rose,

I just got a fabulous idea! Would you be willing to post all the folks in this video? I’m sure all our readers would L O V E that!

Let me know. I’ve been thinking about doing it myself, but if you and your sis post it, I think it will make it more engaging for other visitors to participate in commenting and/or sharing!

          Have a great weekend,

          -Romy

  2. Rose Liberatore says:

    Dear Romy Macias,

I wrote a comment last week, but after forwarding Let’s Dance, we are having a dispute among several of our friends. Who is the gal dancing at the very end after Shirley Temple? She dances alone with a top hat and I say its Vera Ellen a dancer in the 50 or 60′s.

Can you possibly name her to settle our dispute?

    Thanks again,

    Rose Liberatore
