Alexei Ratmansky’s Romeo and Juliet [Videos]

What does it take to put on a huge production like Romeo and Juliet?

It takes gutsy risks and 1.7 million dollars!

Karen Kain, artistic director of the National Ballet of Canada was willing to invest in the company to put it back on the international arena. For the company’s 60th anniversary that is what Kain did, two years ago and it payed off.
