Ballet on New Year’s Eve

It promises to be an amazing evening with a star studded cast, such as Lorna Feijoo as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nelson Madrigal will perform as the Cavalier.

As I was making my own New Year’s eve plans, I wondered what other ballet dancers around the world were doing. Our company is off for vacation, but as you can see Boston Ballet dancers are still working.

What do you think about this? Do you think there should be ballet on New Year’s Eve? Or should performers and staff take the day off to be with their families? On the flip side: being able to live out your passion is a privilege for dancers. So…tell us what you think in the comments area below and if I got you thinking press the “Like” button… and Happy New Year’s Eve to you!
